Architectural Art Glass

This art glass window unifies some of Texas Tech’s architectural traditions—the colonnades, the red brick, and architectural details in limestone. Columns are etched on the glass and are layered with a section that resembles parchment paper. Quotes that relate to the law read as a textual pattern from a distance, but become legible upon closer inspection. The parchment morphs into an area of geometry inspired by the red cinderblocks seen on the library.
