Four large-scale mosaics, comprised of one-inch color tiles, link a variety of historical and contemporary imagery that holds social and symbolic importance for Texas Tech. Drawing from the photo archives of the University, the artist has layered football imagery with those of familiar architectural elements. Together, these images serve to describe the collective spirit of Texas Tech, representing all who have experienced and shared in the university’s vibrant spirit and traditions.
